You can see God in His creation. People who don't want to believe in a creator God believe in evolution. They think that everything came into being by a Big Bang. But if we 'evolved' why are we still not evolving? Why stop? Does that not say that there is a mastermind behind all this?
Through Creation

Whether you believe it or not, there is a creator God and we can know Him through His creation.
"The heavens tell of the glory of God. The skies display his marvelous craftsmanship. Day after Day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known." Psalm 19:1-2
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous - and how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb". Psalm 139:13-15
Through Jesus Christ
We can know God through the example of Jesus Christ. Jesus lived his life in total obedience to God, and he was able to live an absolutely perfect life.
Now we may not be able to live a 100% perfect life, but we can certainly live a more abundant, peaceful and wholesome life if we live as Jesus lived, and we can also build a relationship with God in order to know Him a lot better.
"I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey me, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father and remain in His love. I have told you this so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow." John 15:9-11
"If someone says, 'I belong to God', but doesn't obey God's commandments, that person is a liar and does not live in the truth. But those who obey God's word really do love Him. That is the way to know whether or not we live in Him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Christ did." I John 2:4-6
Through Prayer and Bible Study
The best way to build a relationship is through communication. You need to talk to God in order to get close to Him. And yes, He will answer.
"I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking to me about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers! Isaiah 65:24
"Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results." James 5:16
And don't forget to study the bible. The bible is the written word of God, and he speaks to you through it. Read the Bible everyday to get to know God and to understand what he wants from you.
"All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equpped for every good thing God wants us to do." 2 Timothy 3: 16-17
